The Ancient Man

The Young Baby Boy, With His Bottom Bare
Is Going Nowhere, But He Doesn't Care
He Sleeps All Day, And He Sleeps All Night
He's At Peace With His Bottle
What A Beautiful Sight

The Lanky Young Man, On The Big Grey Mare
Is Going Nowhere, But He Doesn't Care
He Rides All Day, And He Rides All Night
He's At Peace With His Girl
His Future Looks Bright

The Old Man, In The Rocking Chair
Is Going Nowhere, But He Doesn't Care
He Rocks All Day, And He Rocks All Night
He's At Peace With His Pipe
And That's All Right

The Ancient Man, Buried Over There
Is Going Nowhere, But He Doesn't Care
He Lies Still All Day, He Lies Still All Night
He's At Peace With Himself
His Soul Has Taken Flight
